Pupil Council
Here at Lawn, we encourage children from Years 2-6 to become actively involved in our school council. Each class chooses a pupil representative which then makes up our school council.
We meet every half term to discuss how we can support our school from whether it is helping with fundraising or seeking pupil voice from their classes on various issues. Plus, it is a way of allowing children to have their voice across our school and allows them to see its impact.
Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) says that children and young people should have a say in decisions that affect their lives.
