Friends of Lawn is a registered charity run by a joint group of parents and staff, volunteering together at Lawn Primary and Nursery School.

Our aim is to help build a proactive, inclusive, supportive school community, raising funds to be able to enable and enrich opportunities for our children.

A small committee of parents and staff representatives organise events and activities, and provide support for school performances and tasks, meeting occasionally in person and virtually, WhatsApp chats and often via playground conversations!

We also have a wonderful group of regular volunteer parents who help us with specific activities both in the background and on event days.

Our aim is to fundraise for equipment and projects that will enrich the students’ time and experience at school also will put more emphasis on external fundraising where this is feasible, as the local and wider economy returns to a better position.
